What is an Aluminium Folding Door?

Aluminium bi fold doors are a viable alternative to the more traditional French or sliding patio doors. When fully ajar, you gain approximately 90 percent clear opening for easy mobility and accessibility.

A standard four-metre wide aluminium folding door requires approximately five separate panels at 800mm each. Folded completely back, these doors leave 3.6 metres of open space. Just imagine the fresh air flowing into your home, not to mention the unobstructed views of your garden or outdoor scenery.

There are numerous configurations available, each designed to suit the opening you may have. Maximum individual door size is 900mm, with an overall height of 2500mm. In reality, a set of folding aluminium doors can be developed for any opening width you might have, with some made to stretch as much as 80 metres.
